Gravity on the Moon

Gravity on the Moon is an original book of poetry that I published back in 1993. I have recently decided to release some of my work into eBook format. I will be giving away demos of my books here, and at www.palmgear.com, and purchase of the complete books (probably USD 3.00) will be available as well. A Sample poem is available below, and the rest of the demo is around on this site....

Currently I have only made the demo of Gravity on the Moon available. Choose from the following links to see the demo of this book:

And tell me the wolves

The Black Bear came to camp and stole our food,
so now we dump the scraps
fifty yards away behind a pine tree,
four feet from the road. All night
the pit stands bare, but I do not fall in,
grease and stench of pork rinds,
brown oranges build a fence. Across
the first bridge, pillars of water
can't quite hide Brownback's still-snowed peak.
Light from Bozeman can't hide the stars
or spoil the hunt of rabbit and wolf.
I kick a rusted can into an old mineshaft.
It doesn't make a sound as it falls, doesn't
splashdown in an acid-wash pool at the bottom.

But you- you watch all this and laugh
and tell me the wolves will come back tomorrow
to sing those bedtime lullabies
that make them so loved by the artists.
But you, like Noah, never told me
how long a day can last.
