- Visual Basic Programming - I am an advanced VB programmer now,
with about four years of heavy experience. I am primarily involved with
Database access, network file management, and Microsoft Office interaction.
My engineering software at Sea-Bird is responsible for initial setup of
nearly 80% of our sales orders..
- Active Server Pages - The abilities of ASP are endless. From
posting results from a database and writing cookies to posting executable
files directly from the server to your hard drive, without your knowledge,
ASP proves so powerful that most public servers won't allow it At Sea-Bird,
I am using a combination of ASP, JavaScript, and VBScript to provide
relationships for all of our corporate data.
- AutoCAD Excellence - It's not just for cable drawings anymore!
AutoCAD's precision provides an excellent resource for graphic design. I
have created logos, 3D assembly drawings, and flowcharts for many different
purposes, including a plot of all company employees, showing hierarchy and
seniority.
- Graphical Flow Diagrams - Seabird provides
precision chemical sensors for deep sea research. As a resident AutoCAD
artist, I occasionally have opportunity to post some of my work in public.
This drawing shows the flow of water through a sensor chamber.
It has been made into a poster, and is on display with a demo of our sensor
at the Old Dominion University Aquarium in Norfolk, VA.
- Artistry in Graphic Design - I have been a graphic arts hobbyist
for many years, and have produced a book of poetry, and a number of art
pieces, utilizing both poetry and photography in a new medium.
- Photo-Poems I have been writing
poetry for about 15 years now, and occasionally I see a good match to a
photo, or a photo inspires a poem, so I merge them. Here are a few of my
favorites.
- Resume - No explanation needed. This
shows my rise through Sea-Bird for the past few years. I guess I just don't
want to use to much knowledge from before then in my future....
